WYD Encounters are a platform for both registered and aspiring pilgrims to prepare in the way of pilgrimage, form a bond as a spiritual family and receive updated information regarding the diocesan organisation of the upcoming WYD event.

The WYD retreat is a climatic preparation event for pilgrims to instill in themselves and each other an authentic spirit of pilgrimage.
