There has never been a time when God didn’t provide for me. Never! I’ve seen God carry me through certain situations. It took a while, but he was moulding me to be faithful. He’s been working in me through many hard times. Every time I read, hear, and write the Word and I feel God’s love and presence. Speaking and praying his Word also brings about this experience in me.
Why do we cast so much doubt on the power of the living God? Why? Even when life seems uncertain, God always knows what is going on and we can trust him to carry us through. God tells us to trust him with all our heart, rather than depending on our understanding of what is going on around us. I trust him and seek his will in everything I do. He shows me which paths to take when life seems uncertain.
Sometimes God’s blessings are not in what he gives, but in what he takes away. He knows best. Trusting God in the light is nothing, but trusting him in the dark – that is Faith. The more you trust God the more he amazes you. Entrust the past to the mercy of God and the present to his love and the future to his providence.
Man says, “show me and I’ll trust you God”. God says, “trust me and I’ll show you”. I have learned that Faith means trusting in advance what will only make sense in the future.
When you feel helpless and don’t know what to do next, follow his commands in the Bible; follow the Holy Spirit’s leading and trust him to work everything out for you. There are few better ways to find God than in service. When you serve others, you feel his love and presence and how proud he is of your desire to help people. This will also allow you to share his love with others as they will see God’s spirit in you.
God has always been here for me. He always gives me courage to stand and be strong in all I do.
